Media Advisory: Coast Guard, local agencies to conduct exercises

Who: Coast Guard crewmembers from Station Maui, Air Station Barbers Point, Coast Guard Auxiliary, Ocean Safety, Maui Police and Fire Department are scheduled to participate in a joint search and rescue exercise.

What: Crews are scheduled to display their emergency response equipment Monday in advance of a multi-agency search and rescue exercise Wednesday. Media are invited to attend an open house to learn more about new interagency communication capabilities. Also on display will be rescue equipment, aircraft and rescue crews who will ba available for interviews.

Where: National Guard Armory, located at 2701 Mokulele Highway, Kihei, Maui, Hi. 96753.

When: The media open house is scheduled for Monday from 12-12:30 p.m. The exercise is scheduled for Wednesday at 11 a.m.
