Photo Release: Coast Guard, agency partners assist with oil spill exercise

TEAMWORK -- U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer 2nd Class Erik Rask, of Sector Honolulu's Incident Management Division, and U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Marcus Morris, stationed at Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe Bay, retrieve line used to hold oil containment boom during a joint-service oil spill exercise at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, today.
Coast Guard personnel constantly train with local, state and federal partners to better prepare for oil spills and hazardous materials releases.
