
HONOLULU -- U.S. Coast Guard crewmembers aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Kukui, a 225-foot Seagoing Buoy Tender homeported in Honolulu, exercise their Spilled Oil Recovery System (SORS) in Honolulu Harbor, Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008. The Kukui's SORS equipment can be used in response to oil spills around the Hawaiian Islands and the Western Pacific Ocean. All Coast Guard 225-foot Seagoing Buoy Tenders are equipped with SORS as the result of the Oil Pollution Act of 1990.
