HONOLULU - Representatives from the 14th Coast Guard District and maritime partners from the state of Hawaii gather to celebrate the first World Maritime Day Parallel Event at Aloha Tower Marketplace, Friday, Oct. 16, 2009.
The event focused attention on the importance of shipping safety, maritime security and the marine environment.
