HONOLULU -- U.S. Coast Guardsmen from Station Honolulu and Coast Guard Cutter Galveston Island participate in community service at the Kalaupapa National Historic Park, Molokai, July 7, 2010.

Kalaupapa now serves as a place for education and contemplation; it was once considered a community in isolation for leprosy.
