HONOLULU -- Crews from Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point and the Honolulu Fire Department conduct cliff-rescue exercises at Koko Head Crater Nov. 23, 2010. Rescue crews and training mannequins from the Coast Guard and fire department are lowered onto a cliff and then hoisted back into the aircraft, simulating an actual rescue. It was great working with the Honolulu Fire Department today," said Lt. katie Ryan, an HH-65 rescue helicopter pilot with Air Station Barbers Point. "We got some excellent training done and made strides to increase our inter-agency operability which greatly increases our combined response capabilities to the public."
